Woman snaps sneak picture behind old man: Shows what waitress is doing to his food

Nowadays it’s a known fact that many young people have no respect for their elders. This may be true in some cases.

Sometimes this is not always the case. Many times young people perform acts of kindness for their elders without any recognition.

This story is one where the young person involved ended up getting the recognition she deserved for what she done.

We hope we can spread this story around the world and show people that not all young people are the same. Many of them have huge respect for their elders.

Last week a girl whose name is Evoni Williams was behind the counter at her work place Waffle House Houston

Evoni is an 18 year old girl.

It was on this day that she noticed an old man was using oxygen to help him breath. He was unable to cut his food into small pieces in order to eat them.

His hands no longer worked like they did when he was a young man so Evoni decided to try and help him.

A girl named Laura Wolfe was sitting nearby and decided to take a photo. She said to us “Without hesitation, she took his plate and began cutting up his ham,”

She then decided to upload a photo to Facebook as she was so touched by what Evoni had done for the old man.

Laura Wolfe continued to say: “This may seem small, but to him, I’m sure it was huge,”

She then added: “I’m thankful to have seen this act of kindness and caring at the start of my day while everything in this world seems so negative.”

Only a week later her picture was shared almost 40,000 times on Facebook according to some news websites.

The biggest shock was when the picture reached a university school in Southern Texas and apparently they offered Evoni a scholarship worth in the region of $16,000

Williams who had been trying to save money for the past year after graduating from High School in May, had been working at the Waffle House. This was a life-changing moment for her.

Although what she done was huge to some other people she didn’t see it anything out of the ordinary.

She said: “I didn’t know the photo was taken until a couple hours later,”

She then continued to say : “When I saw it, it’s just something I would do for anybody.”

These kind of stories really warm my heart. If only the world had more people like Evoni knew it would be such a better place

If this story has touched you then please share it on Facebook and get Evoni the recognition she deserves.
