One of the seven deadly sins is greed. While you are alive is and more enjoyable using it or doing something worthwhile with your money while you are alive as it’s useless to you after you pass.
Yet this husband couldn’t come to terms with this idea. His wife, however, understood the negative impacts of greed, unlike her husband, knew greed wouldn’t get him anywhere.
Regardless of whether this is accurate or not is unknown, yet it has gone totally viral on the web.
This woman’s cunning actions are an extraordinary example for any individual who has not been educated properly on the reality behind the old saying “You can’t take it with you.”
This story is about a man who takes after the Grinch. He worked hard for his entire life, not spending any of his hard earned cash on any personal things.
He’d squeezed his pennies, accumulating his cash and piling it up each year. He even went to the point of expressing to his significant other he wanted to be covered with his notes since he cherished money more than anything on the earth.
His significant other, being the merciful lady she was, needed to maintain the promises she’d talked a long time previously. Be that as it may, hearing this selfish demand must’ve shocked her.
Her husband coerced her into promising that she’d cover him with his valuable cash before they buried him.
Once that day arrived, she had a choice to make; she lived on a fixed salary each year. She could’ve easily used his cash to help herself and everyone around her.
However, she wanted to uphold the promise she’d made to her spouse. She thought of a clever plan.
As her better half lay rested in his coffin, his wife sat in the front seat with her closest companion. At the end of the ceremony, the widow wearing dark stood up and stated: ‘Wait a minute!'”
This was a critical point in time. Would she comply with her husband’s desires? The friend looked on in dismay as the widow followed through with her promise.
She didn’t need the guilt of breaking the promise to weigh on her spirit for the remainder of her life. She did have a shoebox with her. She set it inside the coffin with her husband just before the undertakers bolted it and took it away.
Having seen enough, but ultimately curious, the friend had to ask: “‘I hope you weren’t crazy enough to put all that money in there with that stingy old man.’”
His ever so loyal widow replied: “Yes, I promised. I’m a good Christian; I can’t lie. I promised him that I was to put that money in that casket with him.”
Shocked, the friend asked: “‘You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?’”
“I sure did,” replied the wife. “I got it all together, put it into my account, and I wrote him a check.”
