This 75-Year-Old ‘Bodybuilding Grandma’ Reveals Her Secret Nude Food Diet To Stay In Shape.

When we look at movies or television shows we have this perception of older people playing bingo, going on cruise ships for a vacation and on occasion, you might get a slightly outdated remark or response reminding us we’re in a slightly different era.

I’m sure you will admit its rare that you will find an older person who has the ability to potentially beat you up especially one dressed in a matching pink bikini.

In case you’re anything like me and that’s an actual fear you struggle with throughout life, maybe you should avoid Australia, where Janice Lorraine pushes her 75-year-old body as far as possible for a body most 25-year-olds would be glad for, not to mention anyone in their 70s.

Lorraine from Granville, Sydney, began her most recent hobby nearly 20 years back, and from that point forward, has won a surprising 23 titles on her way to the highest point of bodybuilding game.

Janice Lorraine had resigned from her employment as a psychologist in the late 90’s. Many individuals at that age are for the most part worried about keeping their brains active, however,

The thought about trying something unique and different appealed to her as it would be a little more challenging for someone her age.

Lorraine discussed where her ideas originated from as she was leaving the gymnasium one day, after spotting an elderly lady in the parking lot.

“She couldn’t walk unaided and she was standing, teetering on two heavily veined legs, which were as thin as toothpicks. The last I saw of this old lady she was leaning on her support and shuffling across the car park. It was then, at that very moment, I decided I was not going to be like her and that I was going to march into the male-dominated weights room and start Weight Resistance Training (WRT).”

Becoming a bodybuilder for Lorraine was as simple as that;  she took part in her first competition in 1999, at the age of 56 years old 15 months later.

It was a tough chore keeping your body in pristine shape let alone compete in bodybuilding competitions especially once your metabolism has slowed down.  Janice Lorraine explains how she likes to eat?

Our most loved septuagenarian enjoys something many refer to as a ‘natural food diet’. Her clothing has nothing to do with this (assuming that Janice eats her suppers completely dressed), however, it refers to foods served without toppings or sauces.

In this way, Janice Lorraine generally plumps for unprocessed meals, a plate of mixed greens or a little bit of microwaved sweet potato.

On the off chance that she needs a touch of protein, she opts for grilled chicken, fish, or possibly some fillet steak if she’s extravagant, along with a glass of red wine for her supper.

While she’s trained not to eat takeout, she likes to treat herself once every so often, when she does require a little treat, at that point she opts for a biscuit, along with a square of 90 percent sugar-free dark chocolate.

“My aim is not to rival those younger than me. My aim is to show what’s possible and to motivate and encourage women of any age,” says Lorraine of her profession as a female bodybuilder, and says she could go on for a while yet. “I don’t know when I’ll stop bodybuilding,” she said. “I’ll keep going until I no longer want to. I’m out to make a statement. I’m trying to change people’s perception of what a 70-something-year-old should be.”
