Comedic actor Will Ferrell has reportedly been rushed to the hospital for treatment following being involved in a car accident.
The Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Blades of Glory actor was riding in a chauffeur-driven SUV when it flipped over in an incident involving two cars last night (Thursday April 12).
Ferrell along with two other passengers were transported to hospital in ambulances suffering from injuries.
Witnesses told TMZ the SUV was side-swiped by another vehicle while driving on the I-5 freeway in Orange County at around 11 pm.
It is currently unclear what injuries Ferrell and the other passengers suffered.
The popular 50-year-old actor was seen speaking on his mobile phone as firefighters loaded up his stretcher into the ambulance
According to another witness, a female passenger in Ferrell’s car was more seriously injured bleeding profusely at the scene.
The group were traveling on the way back from a Funny or Die event outside of San Diego where Ferrell appeared as his popular Anchorman character Ron Burgundy.
